About Barry Haller
My name is Barry Haller, and my shop is at 1055 Swamp Bridge Road, Denver, Pennsylvania. I have been in the Taxidermy business since 1977, I am a self taught Taxidermist with the help of North East School of Taxidermy, and a few other small courses. I became more knowledgeable due to the kindness of those that walked before me. After about 10 years of services, I approached the tanning end of taxidermy due to the kindness of of a fellow I met at Biloxi, Mississippi at a taxidermy convention, his name was Sinclair Clark who specialized in Africa tanning, but did all kinds of work at New York Jonas brothers. I had him come down and help me get started. Since that time I have added other equipment, and gained a greater knowledge at tanning. I do bear, deer, elk, moose, caribou, foxes, raccoon, and lots of others. Sinclair Clark was the one who tanned the elephant that stands in the Smithsonian, and he also worked at the Museum of Natural History in New York, talking with him was a God send.I have a large show room, with lots to see. I guess you can see from my prices, I am the poor man taxidermist. My motto is to do a good job at a decent price, we do about 200 deer heads a year, and that is for about 30 years at the same place. Overall, I have not had too many complaints, so I must be doing something right.
